v0.7.2: tighter rules on the board and in /pet
Tighter rules on the board and in /pet
- A creature is credited at most once a day, even when check-ins arrive at the same moment.
- One network can add two new creatures a minute (was five), and the board never takes more than 5,000 new creatures a day.
- The scanner accepts only whole flag names, and checks a
--serveraddress more strictly: https, or plain http only to this machine. /petnow passes only the 32-character code from an invite link to the command, and quotes a GitHub login and a self-hosted address.
The board changes are already live. To get the scanner and /pet changes: /plugin → Marketplaces → cclevel → Update marketplace, then /reload-plugins.
v0.7.1: icon file as PNG
Icon file fix
- The site's small icon is now a plain PNG (
favicon.png) instead of an.icofile, which Anthropic's plugin directory could not inspect. Same picture, same pixels. - Nothing changes in how CC level works. Updating is optional.
To update anyway: /plugin → Marketplaces → cclevel → Update marketplace, then /reload-plugins.
v0.7.0: on the board by default
On the board by default
- From your next Claude Code start, the plugin puts your creature on the world board under a generated name and checks in once a day in the background: nine numbers and your badge codes, no account, nothing you wrote.
- Opting out is one command:
/pet leave. It works before or after your creature joins, deletes your row at once, and the plugin never joins again by itself./pet joinbrings you back. - Stay on the board for your group and duels but off the public lists:
/pet world off. Stop only the daily check-in:/pet auto off. - Already on the board? Nothing changes for you: your world ranking and auto check-in stay as you set them.
- Left the board under an earlier version? Those versions kept no record of it. After updating, run
/pet leaveonce, or your next session start joins you again. - Your card now says which creature you are, or that you join at the next start, and how to opt out.
How to update
In Claude Code: /plugin → Marketplaces → cclevel → Update marketplace, then /reload-plugins. From a shell: claude plugin marketplace update cclevel and claude plugin update cclevel@cclevel. Pick Enable auto-update in the same menu and new versions arrive on their own.
Every request and field is listed in PRIVACY.md.
v0.6.1
v0.6.0: Training and tips
New
- Training:
/pet learn. Five lessons per stat, 30 in all, easiest first: see what fills the context, plan before you build, hand a job to a subagent, let Claude commit, and more. A lesson ticks itself when your Claude Code logs show you did it, never because you say so, and stays ticked. The next lesson in each stat says how to do it and links its page in the Claude Code docs. Lessons teach; they never change your level, XP or rank. - Tips:
/pet tips on. Off until you turn it on. The card then shows a how-to line with its docs link under each thing to fix, and one Claude Code tip a day from your weakest stat. No tip comes round again until all of them have been shown./pet tips offturns both off. - Both are offline. Nothing new is sent: a check-in carries exactly what it did before. What you have learnt is kept in
~/.claude/cclevel/training.jsonon your machine.
How to update
Claude Code does not update plugins from this marketplace by itself until you turn that on.
- In Claude Code:
/plugin→ Marketplaces → cclevel → Update marketplace, then/reload-plugins.
Or from a shell:claude plugin marketplace update cclevel, thenclaude plugin update cclevel@cclevel. - Once:
/plugin→ Marketplaces → cclevel → Enable auto-update, so future versions arrive on their own.
v0.5.1: Join nudge
New
- Join nudge. If this machine isn't on the board, the card now says how much XP from your last 7 days will never rank, and how to start counting:
/pet join the leaderboard. The board ranks only XP it sees after you join. The card works this out from your own files and sends nothing. Once you join, the line is gone. - Plugin icon for directory listings.
How to update

Or from a shell:claude plugin marketplace update cclevel, thenclaude plugin update cclevel@cclevel. - Once:
/plugin→ Marketplaces → cclevel → Enable auto-update, so future versions arrive on their own.
v0.5.0: CC level Wrapped
New
- CC level Wrapped.
/pet wrappedshows your year in review, worked out on your machine from your own ledger. It covers your XP and active days, your level and stage at the start of the year and now, your best day and best month, your longest streak, the badges you earned, XP per month, and how your six stats moved./pet wrapped 2025shows an earlier year. It sends nothing. - Weekly snapshots. From this version on, the ledger keeps one snapshot a week of your XP, six stats and Health. Wrapped uses them to show how your stats moved, so the longer you keep CC level updated, the fuller December's Wrapped gets.
How to update
Claude Code does not update plugins from this marketplace by itself until you turn that on.
- In Claude Code:

Privacy
Nothing new leaves your machine; a check-in sends exactly what it did in 0.4.0. The snapshots stay in ~/.claude/cclevel/ledger.json.
v0.4.0: Duels and a share card
New
- Duels.
/pet duelchallenges one friend to seven days. Whoever the board credits with more XP takes the ♛. Send the link it prints; the first friend to accept with/pet duel <link>takes the seat. A duel sits beside your group and is never published. Duel XP counts from your first check-in on or after the day the duel is accepted, so check in that day (or turn on auto check-in). - Share card.
/pet cardprints a link to a page that draws your card as a 1200×630 picture to save or copy. The numbers sit after#in the link, so the page sends nothing, and the picture shows no creature name.
- Once:

Older versions keep working with the board; they just don't have duels or the share card.
Privacy
Three new stored columns for duels (duel, duel_day, duel_xp), all named in PRIVACY.md. A duel's invite code is kept only as its SHA-256 hash.
