Blockinator Web v1.20.12
This release improves policy reliability, list editing, API key management, MySQL compatibility, and TLS recovery.
Fixes and improvements
- Prevent pasted or uploaded list contents from being overwritten by a previous source URL; make Save the default Enter-key action.
- Make toggles apply the displayed state consistently across repeated submissions and stale tabs.
- Prevent concurrent API key changes from disabling or deleting the last enabled key.
- Return appropriate errors for malformed CSRF tokens and out-of-range numeric IDs.
- Treat search wildcards literally and display list and API key timestamps in the configured timezone.
- Preserve the active Settings tab after saves and redirect expired Statistics sessions to sign in.
- Correct PTR identity handling across restarts, cache flushes, and policy reloads.
- Match IPv4-mapped IPv6 client addresses against IPv4 targets.
- Support maximum-length DNS names in MySQL query logs and improve concurrent list membership updates.
- Improve TLS configuration recovery and synchronization.
- Isolate individual list refresh failures and handle UTF-8 byte-order marks.
- Detect case-insensitive list and target name conflicts before SQLite-to-MySQL migration modifies the destination.
Upgrade notes
Back up .env and application data before updating. Back up remote MySQL databases separately.
Existing settings are preserved. MySQL upgrades automatically widen the query-name column. Resolve any reported case-insensitive name conflicts before migrating SQLite to MySQL.
Publishing this release starts Docker Hub validation and image publishing. Image availability depends on that workflow completing successfully.
Validation
The application release commit passed the GitHub test workflow.
