Highlights

  • 🔊 Android receiver now plays audio — streamed system audio finally comes through on Android.
  • ⌨️ Lower input latency — snappier response when typing or working on an extended display.

Builds on everything in v9: Android USB fix, lower idle CPU/battery, smoother WiFi streaming, and macOS 13 Ventura support.

Downloads

  • macOS: BetterCast.dmg (notarized & signed with an Apple Developer certificate)
  • Android: BetterCast-Receiver-Android.apk

Android update note: If you already have an older BetterCast APK installed and the update fails with a signature error, uninstall the old version first, then install this one.
