OnePort v1.2.0

Changed

• One Recycle bin for Gallery and My Files, run by Android. Photos and videos deleted in either app now go to Android's own trash (MediaStore), so both bins show the same items and Android handles the 30-day expiry. Other files deleted in My Files still use My Files' own bin.
• APK file names are now <App>-<release>.apk, for example Gallery-1.2.0.apk. An app that doesn't change in a later release keeps its older file name. install.sh picks up the newest file of each app.
• Photo Editor and Video Player are unchanged since 1.1.0; only their file names are new.

Added

• Gallery's Recycle bin is sorted by days left (most at the top), and items with 1 day or less left are shown in red.
• Gallery asks once for Media management access. With it, deletes, restores and emptying the bin don't show Android's "Allow Gallery to…" confirmation every time.

Fixed

• Gallery: delete failed with "Couldn't delete" on phones without Samsung's system trash service.
• Gallery: the Recycle bin crashed when opened.
• Gallery: thumbnails, full-size previews and video playback now work for items in the Recycle bin.
• Gallery: dismissing Android's delete confirmation showed "Couldn't delete" about two minutes later; it now reports at once.
• Gallery: the on-screen back arrow did nothing on Android 15 and newer.

Upgrading from 1.1.0

• Items that were already in Gallery's Recycle bin from 1.1.0 aren't shown in the new bin. The files are still on the phone, in the hidden folder Android/.Trash/com.sec.android.gallery3d. To keep any of them, restore them in 1.1.0 before updating, or copy them out of that folder with a file manager afterwards.

Known issues

• Videos in Gallery's Recycle bin show 0:00 as their length.

Tested

• Motorola Edge 60 Pro (Android 17) and Motorola Edge 50 Pro (Android 16).
• Android 14 emulator: My Files delete to bin, bin listing, restore and permanent delete; Gallery launch, Recycle bin and back arrow.
