Thanks for sharing!

I'm not seeing the issue in the Weather box... is the "Summer" link styled white because it was visited?

As for the TOC, wouldn't it be easier to use the #toc id?

  a, .CategoryTreeToggle, #toc a, #toc a span {
    color: #008080 !important;
  }

  a:visited, #toc a:visited, #toc a:visited span {
    color: #ccc !important;
  }

  a:hover, a:hover span, #toc a:hover, #toc a:hover span {
    color: #fff !important;
    text-decoration: underline !important;
  }
