[Feature Request] Ignoring empty tag

The library still consumes empty tag like <p></p> and it causes extras padding between block content.

Hm that is not intended so this is actually a bug. Would you mind posting your example HTML and maybe a screenshot of the issue?

I could probably reproduce on my own but I just want to replicate your setup exactly.

Ignoring empty tags by default seems like a bad idea because it corrupts the original data. What about adding an attribute to ignore empty tags instead?

how about case when it have like
<p><span style=""></span><span style=""></span><p> ? i think it still got rendered
