Release list
AirKeyboard 1.0.3
Use an Android phone or tablet as a wireless trackpad and keyboard for a Windows PC. Free, no ads, no accounts, no AirKeyboard servers.
New in 1.0.3: the Android app connects only to the AirKeyboard PC app, and says so plainly when a PC runs something else. Every release now carries the full license notices of both apps in one file. The Windows app changes only in its version number and notices.
If you installed an earlier version, install this over it; your saved PCs are kept.
Downloads
AirKeyboard-1.0.3.apk: the Android app (Android 7.0 or later). Install it on your phone or tablet.AirKeyboard.exe: the Windows 10/11 (64-bit) tray app (self-contained, no .NET install needed). Move it into a folder of its own before running it.AirKeyboard-licenses.txt: the licenses of AirKeyboard and of the third-party software in both apps.
Both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi. Use AirKeyboard on your own Wi-Fi, with your own PC. Setup steps, the threat model and troubleshooting are in the README.
The exe is not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen may warn on first run ("More info" > "Run anyway"). By default anyone on your Wi-Fi with the app can control the PC; set a password from the tray menu or the pairing window.
Third-party components and their licenses: THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md.
