SuperJupiter SensorQuality 0.2.1

Pre-release

Choose a tag to compare

@bredelljp bredelljp released this 19 Oct 20:08

SuperJupiter SensorQuality 0.2.1 corrective preview.

0.2.1 - 2026-10-19

  • Explicit numeric-error flag and zero unavailable rate for reduced-precision rate overflow; raw readings retained.
  • Added focused review regression tests and shared interoperability guidance. Hardware validation pending.

Exact release commit CI: https://github.com/Super-Jupiter/superjupiter-sensor-quality/actions/runs/39316416078

GCC/Clang tests with address/undefined-behaviour sanitizers, regression cases, CMake consumer/install checks, inspected archives, and ESP32/ESP32-S3/ESP32-C3/Uno example compilation. Portfolio integration is independently tested with all twenty components; see docs/INTEROPERABILITY.md and SensorReplay extras/PortfolioPipeline.

Hardware validation pending. Synthetic software tests and board compilation are not physical validation. Existing tags and storage formats are preserved.

SuperJupiter SensorQuality 0.2.0

@bredelljp bredelljp released this 19 Oct 16:59

SuperJupiter SensorQuality 0.2.0

Early public preview. Physical hardware validation remains pending.

Breaking source change: all public C++ types, flags and helpers now live in superjupiter::sensor_quality. Replace superjupiter::Config with superjupiter::sensor_quality::Config and migrate Result, SensorQuality, flags and flagName similarly. The package name and SuperJupiterSensorQuality.h include header are unchanged. No root compatibility aliases are added; all 0.1.x tags remain intact.

Improvements:

  • Component namespace prevents collisions across future SuperJupiter libraries.
  • SuperJupiter::SensorQuality CMake target, optional developer tools for subprojects, relocatable installation and find_package support.
  • Registered-library Arduino update lint, automated version/package consistency, clean archive consumers and exact-pin installation guidance.
  • Time/numeric/combined-flag regression coverage and namespace isolation.
  • Explicit rejection of incompatible GCC/Clang fast-math assumptions.
  • Migration guide, library conventions and release checklist.

Validation:

  • Release commit c77c7c1 passed all eight CI jobs: GCC/Clang host sanitizers; Arduino lint; exported-package/CMake/PlatformIO consumers; both examples and installed-ZIP consumer builds for ESP32, ESP32-S3, ESP32-C3 and Arduino Uno.
  • Host suite: 200,190 assertions in ten groups, most from a repeated 100,000-observation stream; namespace isolation is checked separately.
  • Compilation and software tests are not physical execution, sensor accuracy or hardware timing measurements.

Migration: https://github.com/Super-Jupiter/superjupiter-sensor-quality/blob/v0.2.0/docs/MIGRATION.md
Conventions: https://github.com/Super-Jupiter/superjupiter-sensor-quality/blob/v0.2.0/docs/CONVENTIONS.md

Install exact version: superjupiter/SuperJupiterSensorQuality@0.2.0 (PlatformIO), or SuperJupiterSensorQuality@0.2.0 (Arduino CLI) after the relevant registry processes the release. Registration/publication and index propagation are separate. No proprietary models or client data included. MIT license.

SuperJupiter SensorQuality 0.1.2

Pre-release

@bredelljp bredelljp released this 19 Oct 09:57

SuperJupiter SensorQuality 0.1.2

Documentation-only registry update: use direct GitHub links for the API reference, validation record, licence and contribution/security guidance. These links work from both GitHub and the PlatformIO Registry. Version metadata and installation instructions updated together.

The monitor and tests are unchanged from 0.1.0. The previous packaging commit passed all CI jobs: https://github.com/Super-Jupiter/superjupiter-sensor-quality/actions/runs/39233306738

Physical hardware validation remains pending. Software checks and compilation are not physical sensor validation or safety certification.

  • PlatformIO Registry: superjupiter/SuperJupiterSensorQuality@^0.1.2
  • Arduino registration accepted. Search for SuperJupiterSensorQuality after the download index updates. The ZIP below can be installed immediately with Arduino IDE's Add .ZIP Library command.

MIT licence. Built by SuperJupiter. No SuperJupiter service required.

SuperJupiter SensorQuality 0.1.1

Pre-release

@bredelljp bredelljp released this 19 Oct 09:54

SuperJupiter SensorQuality 0.1.1

Registry packaging update. The sensor monitor and host tests are unchanged from 0.1.0.

  • Include the API reference, validation notes and host tests in PlatformIO packages.
  • Retain the full SuperJupiter name in registry metadata.
  • State Hardware validation pending directly in the PlatformIO description.
  • Document accepted Arduino Library Manager registration.

CI for this release checks strict Arduino package metadata, GCC/Clang host tests and both example builds for ESP32, ESP32-S3, ESP32-C3 and Arduino Uno.

Physical hardware validation remains pending. Software tests and compilation do not establish sensor accuracy, conversion cadence or field reliability. This is an early preview, not a safety-certified product.

Installation

Arduino IDE: download SuperJupiterSensorQuality-0.1.1.zip, then choose Sketch > Include Library > Add .ZIP Library. Library Manager registration has been accepted; search for SuperJupiterSensorQuality once its download index updates.

PlatformIO Registry package: superjupiter/SuperJupiterSensorQuality. Once processing completes, add superjupiter/SuperJupiterSensorQuality@^0.1.1 to lib_deps.

Built by SuperJupiter. MIT licence; no SuperJupiter service or account required to use the library.

SuperJupiter SensorQuality 0.1.0

Pre-release

Choose a tag to compare

@bredelljp bredelljp released this 19 Oct 09:43

SuperJupiter SensorQuality 0.1.0

Initial public preview of our standalone, MIT-licensed sensor data quality library.

Included

  • Allocation-free C++11 monitor for invalid numbers, range, rate, late samples, stale data and possibly stuck readings.
  • Raw values and capture timestamps preserved; explicit errors for invalid settings and timestamp ordering.
  • Two Arduino examples using synthetic temperature and faults, with no sensor or cloud account required.
  • Host demonstration, API documentation, contribution/security guidance and automated tests.

Verified

All seven CI jobs passed for this release commit: strict Arduino package lint, GCC/Clang host tests and both example builds for ESP32, ESP32-S3, ESP32-C3 and Arduino Uno.

Hardware validation is pending. Compilation and synthetic tests do not prove sensor accuracy, physical conversion rates or field reliability. This is an early preview, not a safety-certified product.

Install

Download SuperJupiterSensorQuality-0.1.0.zip below. In Arduino IDE select Sketch > Include Library > Add .ZIP Library. Open File > Examples > SuperJupiterSensorQuality > SyntheticTemperature, select a board, upload and open Serial Monitor at 115200 baud.

Arduino Library Manager and PlatformIO Registry registration are not complete. PlatformIO users can pin the Git tag as documented in the README.

Built by SuperJupiter. No SuperJupiter service is required.
