@Super-Matter Super-Matter released this 01 Sep 12:59

OpenMacBattery v0.2.0

This release is built from the current source tree and supersedes the original v0.1 prototype.

Highlights

  • Native macOS ri_energy_nj process-energy reporting, with per-app processor values shown in joules.
  • More reliable process attribution, PID-reuse handling, permissions, timestamp gaps, and SQLite writes/migrations.
  • Battery-only history, battery/AC scaling, charge-limit and adapter details, remaining-time correction, and display estimates.
  • Lower GUI overhead: background database work, inactive polling pause, five-minute history refreshes, stable chart IDs, lazy detail content, and separated live/history state.
  • Updated nine-language localization, ⌘, Settings, validated CLI input, and safe JSON output.

Install

Download OpenMacBattery-0.2.0.dmg, open it, and drag OpenMacBattery to Applications. The app is ad-hoc signed; macOS may require right-click → Open on first launch.

Energy values are processor/task estimates, not complete battery-meter readings. See the README for caveats and build instructions.
