QuickProbe v2.1.8

  • QuickProbe now shows its login window when it starts. Previously a fresh launch displayed nothing until the tray icon or Ctrl+Shift+R was used, because the start-up code used a Tauri v1 window API that Tauri v2 does not provide.

  • The update window no longer claims the running version needs updating (for example "v2.1.7 → v2.1.7"). It offers an update only when a newer release is available.

  • After being hidden to the tray, the window returns to the taskbar when it is shown again.

  • A WebDriver regression test proves the login window shows itself at start-up, and unit tests cover the update decision. The unit tests now run in scripts/verify.ps1.
