Tactic Remote 1.13

  • Added Portal: preview websites running on your computer in the iPhone and iPad app. Portal finds running websites automatically.
  • Share a preview with a revocable link that expires automatically. Shared pages are reviewed for safety before they are shown, and visitors can report a problem.
  • Added phone, desktop and ultrawide preview widths, adjustable conversation splits and full-width previews.
  • The computer apps now support website detection and reviewed sharing, and explain when a preview limit is reached, Portal is busy, or Portal is starting. Older computer apps can still open private previews but must be updated to create share links.

Downloads

Platform Version Download
iPhone / iPad 1.13.0 App Store
macOS 14.6+, Apple Silicon and Intel 1.13.0, build 32 Mac DMG
Windows 10/11 x64 1.13.0 Preview Installer · Portable

The Mac app and DMG are Developer ID signed, notarized by Apple, and the DMG has a stapled ticket. The Mac app includes the Node runtime; tmux and a supported, signed-in agent CLI are required on the computer.

Windows remains an unsigned Preview. SmartScreen may show a warning. Download from this official release and verify the SHA-256. Updates install manually.

Mac/Linux CLI and Homebrew currently remain at 1.12.0. Use npx tacticremote@1.12.0 for the stable CLI. The Mac and Windows downloads above include their own server.

Share links are offered only in regions where OpenAI's services are available; elsewhere Portal stays private.
