The Wither biome is a "weaker" version of the Corruption, serving as a warning that an area is in danger of being corrupted.
Corruption converts non-Wither tiles to Wither tiles at a faster rate and further range than Corruption normally spreads itself. Corruption converts Wither tiles to Corruption tiles at a slower rate and shorter range than Corruption normally spreads itself. Wither, itself, does not spread.
All Wither enemy spawns are identical to the Corruption's, but the spawn rates are lower, and Corruption Keys and Souls of Night will not drop. NPCs can live in Wither, as Withered tiles do not contribute to a house's "Corruption/Crimson rating", and will sell any items that they would sell in a Corruption biome (in terms of vanilla content, this amounts to only the "Lightless Chasms" painting). If there is a vacant house built in the Wither biome, the Kishin NPC can move in.

The Carnage biome is a "weaker" version of the Crimson, serving as a warning that an area is in danger of being corrupted.
Crimson converts non-Carnage tiles to Carnage at a faster rate and further range than Crimson normally spreads itself.
All Carnage enemy spawns are identical to the Crimson's, but the spawn rates are lower, and Crimson Keys and Souls of Night will not drop. NPCs can live in Carnage, as Carnage tiles do not contribute to a house's "Corruption/Crimson rating", and will sell any items that they would sell in a Crimson biome (in terms of vanilla content, this amounts to only the "Deadland Comes Alive" painting). If there is a vacant house built in the Carnage biome, the Maniac NPC can move in.

The Lavender Biome forms at the intersection of Hallow with Corruption or Crimson. The biome has a pale violet color scheme. When Hallow and Crimson or Corruption are adjacent, Hallow tiles convert Crimson and Corruption tiles to Lavender tiles, and Crimson and Corruption tiles convert Hallow tiles to Lavender tiles. Lavender tiles are valid terrain to spawn Crimson, Corruption, and Hallow enemies, and at a spawn rate even higher than that of Crimson or Corruption.
