Hermeticist Class

Overview

The hermeticist is a multiplayer-oriented support class that focuses on applying buffs and debuffs, but it can still function on its own by buffing itself to make up for its frailty and low damage. Damage dealt by the hermeticist class's weapons is called "hermetic damage".

Blessing: Right click with any Hermetic weapon to spawn a projectile at the cursor's location. This projectile homes in on the nearest player (including the one that fired it), ignoring tiles, and applies a buff on contact.

Weapons

Sprinklers

Sprinklers flick damaging water from the player to the cursor, arcing heavily down. Sprinklers also summon damaging projectiles from the top of the screen down to cursor. They ignore collision with tiles until they reach the player's height. If the user has Ink available, they will flick ink instead, consuming ink and applying the user's Artistic damage bonuses in addition to Hermetic damage bonuses.

Batons

Batons summon damaging projectiles from end-to-end of the screen, passing through the cursor and the player. They ignore collision with tiles until they reach the player.

Candlesticks

Candlesticks release damaging particles of fire up from the player. They also summon damaging projectiles up from the bottom of the screen passing through the cursor. They ignore collision with tiles until they reach the player's height.

Tokens

Tokens make one enormous explosion, centered on the enemy with the most health onscreen, doing damage and applying a debuff in the area. Each use of a token costs 100 mana.
