git-updater 0.2.4-beta.1 (Windows test beta)

Windows-only prerelease for testing the self-update path on TLS-inspecting/EDR machines.

  • HTTP/1.1 download fix — self-update no longer fails with net::ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR behind FortiEDR/FortiGate SSL inspection.
  • Self-update beta channel — new Settings toggle "Update git-updater to beta (pre-release) versions" (off by default).
  • The header-logo clipping fix is intentionally not in this beta — it's the visible payload for updating this beta to a later one.

Drop-in: unzip over your git-updater folder, then enable the beta toggle in Settings.
