The basic idea
Hack is a content management system with buildable templatable pages. Hack is built in 3 organisational layers:
- Backend
- Frontend
- Client
Hack focusses on the backend by providing an easy way to create fully customizable pages and it's ever changing input.
In Hack you can create a site. In that site you can create pages as you would expect. But to make a page you first have to make a template. The templates define what inputs (builders) are available in the page. So if your page needs an image slider you can add one in the template builder and it magically appears as an option in every page that uses that template. This way you can build up a page with as much desired input types as you want. And you can add or delete whenever you need by altering the template.
A website is constantly moving. So to be able to keep up with that tempo you need a flexible system that can handle the adjustments instantly. Hack provides exactly that by taking the pain out of exceptions that must be made while programming. Cause one page is always just a little different from another.
