First release.

  • Visual pad editor — set rows/columns/knobs and click to assign actions; knobs get ccw / press / cw.
  • Up to 3 layers, each independently editable.
  • Guided action picker with live validation (keyboard chords/sequences, mouse, media), or raw text entry.
  • Comment- and order-preserving round-trip editing of existing YAML configs.
  • Optional one-click Validate / Upload to Device when a ch57x-keyboard-tool binary is found.

Tested on Windows. Pure Python/Tkinter, so it should run on macOS/Linux too (unverified). Requires Python 3.11+; only third-party dependency is ruamel.yaml.

This tool only produces the YAML that ch57x-keyboard-tool consumes — it does not modify that project.
