This repository hosts a fully working installer of the Legacy Minecraft Launcher — the final public release before the official site (https://llaun.ch/en) was taken down by Mojang. This is a community preservation project, not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft.

The Legacy Launcher was a popular alternative Minecraft launcher, providing lightweight performance, better mod handling, and compatibility with older versions of Minecraft. It was discontinued after Mojang's Microsoft account migration, and the official website was shut down due to DMCA action.
This installer allows you to easily restore and run the legacy launcher for nostalgic or compatibility purposes.
- A valid Mojang or Microsoft Minecraft account (legacy accounts work best)
- Minimum 1 GB free disk space
- Internet connection for first-time setup
- Java runtime (bundled in most versions)
- Download the
.exefrom the table above. - Run the installer and follow the prompts.
- Start the launcher from the Start Menu or Desktop shortcut.
- Launch the app.
- Log in with your Mojang/Microsoft account.
- Select your Minecraft version or profile.
- Click Play and enjoy the classic experience!
