πŸš€ Asciinator v0.1 – Convert Images to ASCII Art

Asciinator is a lightweight tool that converts .jpg images into ASCII art without relying on external dependencies. Now available for both Linux and Windows!

🌟 Features

βœ… Works on Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, etc.) and Windows
βœ… Converts .jpg images to ASCII art
βœ… Customizable block size (1-100) (more details <-> less details)
βœ… No external dependencies required

πŸ“₯ Installation & Usage

  1. Download the appropriate version for your system below.
  2. Extract the .tar.gz file.
  3. Run the program using:

🐧 Linux

./asciinator <block size> <image_filename.jpg>

πŸ–₯ Windows

.\asciinator <block size> <image_filename.jpg>

πŸ“ŒExample:

./asciinator 3 coffee.jpg

image_2025-02-20_190953901

for smaller block size the result might be too big, so better to make the font smaller to fit in your screen <- will try to make a feature where the result with more details will have smaller font on the result file.

The output is saved as result.txt in the same directory
