⬆️ Updating lives in the sidebar now. Above the version line, in every view, one block says what there is to do: Update to x.y.z when you run from source (it pulls, rebuilds and restarts the services, showing the step in progress), Downloading x.y.z with its progress and then Restart and install x.y.z in the installed app, where the native dialog that used to pop up is gone: the download stays automatic, you choose when to restart, and closing the app installs it anyway. If something fails, the block says why and System keeps the log. The banner at the top (which linked to the release page) and the card in System are gone. Clicking the version line checks again right away.
🐧 Updating from the app works under the hardened systemd unit. The unit let the service write the key store but not the folder where the copies of the installation go, so the update always stopped at "the copy could not be made". The unit in deploy/ gains that line; an installed unit needs it added by hand (see the server-mode manual).
