Fix: guest (B2B) sign-ins were denied Dataverse access

• User sign-in acquired its token against the account's home tenant (the default organizations/common authority), which for guest/B2B accounts differs from the resource tenant — so Dataverse denied table/row access even though the same account works fine in make.powerapps.com.
• The token is now acquired against the discovered resource tenant, matching how the client-credentials flow and the maker portal already authenticate.

Faster reloads: connections and entities restore instantly from cache

• On reopening VS Code, the sidebar now shows the last-known connection and entity list immediately from a cache, while quietly verifying the session and refreshing metadata in the background — instead of blocking on a live token + WhoAmI + entity fetch every time.
• The default solution filter is now persisted per environment and applies through that same cache-first flow, so reload no longer briefly flashes "All solutions" before snapping to the real filter.
• Picking a solution to filter the explorer by — or to publish a new web resource into — now remembers your last choice per environment and pre-highlights it; you still confirm explicitly.

MCP status at a glance

• A new status bar item shows whether the D365 MCP server Claude Code talks to is actually reachable (Active/Inactive). It stays hidden until the workspace has run D365: Configure MCP Server for this Workspace, and stays in sync via a .mcp.json file watcher.

Fixes

• Table icons that are actually raster images (PNG/JPEG/GIF) rather than SVGs now render as real images instead of dumping garbled binary data into the sidebar as text.

Fix: MCP config no longer risks being committed

• Running D365: Configure MCP Server for this Workspace now automatically adds .mcp.json to your .gitignore (appending to an existing file, or offering to create one if missing), preventing the local MCP wiring — and any environment details it contains — from accidentally being committed.

Entity explorer rebuilt as a React app

The sidebar webview — previously an ~860-line raw HTML/JS string — has been rewritten from scratch as a proper React app, bundled with esbuild. This is an internal rework with no intended change in behavior:

• Same feature set: search, solution filtering, lazy-loaded attributes and icons, dark-theme icon inversion, and the context menu for generating interfaces/enums.
• Schema data (attributes, icons) now flows through an RPC-over-postMessage bridge and is managed with TanStack Query, replacing hand-rolled caching logic.
• Dropped the deprecated @vscode/webview-ui-toolkit dependency in favor of native inputs/buttons, shrinking the bundle from ~329KB to ~174KB.
• The entity list is now virtualized (@tanstack/react-virtual) so large environments with hundreds of tables stay smooth to scroll.

Entity explorer: real table icons

• The sidebar now shows each table's actual Dynamics icon instead of a plain expand/collapse chevron — custom tables resolve their IconVectorName web resource, system tables load the built-in svg_<objecttypecode>.svg, and anything without an icon falls back to a generic table glyph.
• Icons load lazily (via IntersectionObserver) so opening a large environment doesn't fire an icon request per row.
• Icons invert correctly under dark themes to stay legible.
