New

  • feat: add opt-in analytics and coding usage notch with drag-only shelf (#68) (98cfbf5)

Usage analytics, with your consent

Analytics is off by default. Enable Share usage analytics during onboarding or in Settings → Privacy & Data to help measure active use and return visits. Events use a random installation ID and never include messages, screenshots, file names, file paths, or provider credentials. Turning analytics off cancels pending sends and removes the local ID.

A notch for coding and files

  • Replace micro-app tiles with Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor usage rings and reset times. Connect each provider in Settings → Notch using its existing local sign-in.
  • See HeyMate-managed agent activity and requests for approval. External IDE and CLI sessions are not monitored.
  • Drag a file into the notch: your mate opens its mouth, eats the drop, then shows the file shelf. The shelf opens only through file dragging. Original files stay in place.

Provider integrations currently read default profiles and can show unavailable readings when sign-in or provider API access is missing. CodeNotch-derived provider mappings are MIT-attributed in the app.
