CHANGELOGS

Languages:

• One vocabulary for every engine: use auto or ISO codes (en, fr, ar, zh...) everywhere;
  each engine translates them to its own format (eng, fre, FRE, ch_sim, a prompt hint...).
• Every engine answers the language picker: list, prompt hint (vision-language engines), or fixed
  script (TrOCR, GOT-OCR...). Baidu publishes 25 languages; RapidOCR picks its model by language.
• Several languages at once where the engine supports it (Tesseract, EasyOCR, Google Vision, VLMs),
  with EasyOCR's combination rules enforced.

Models and prompts:

• Model picker for the 33 engines that take a model: known models as suggestions, live list from
  the provider's account (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Mistral, OpenRouter, OmniRoute, Grok, Groq, SiliconFlow), any id accepted.
• Extra prompt shown only where it applies; Batch jobs carry prompt and model.
• Providers form: each setting once (one model field, a language dropdown, a correct endpoint label).

Cluster:

• Credential status shared across servers: a key over quota on one server is skipped everywhere within seconds.

Fixes:

• Real engine names in the catalog (OpenRouter was mislabelled; 36 engines had auto-mangled names).
• OCR.Space engine 3 returned no text for GIF/WebP/BMP/TIFF input: images now reach every cloud
  engine as real PNG/JPEG, correctly labelled. OCR.Space shrinks uploads over the plan's limit.
• Empty option values keep engine defaults; Baidu no longer dropped the requested language.
• TensorFlow start-up noise silenced; macOS sync stalls fixed; several test and CI fixes.

Stand-alone executables built by CI for Windows, macOS (Intel & Apple silicon) and Linux.
ocrroute-server-* = CLI + API + web control panel (double-click starts the server on http://127.0.0.1:20256).
ocrroute-desktop-* = PyQt5 desktop app with the embedded server.
*-full-* = Full edition: adds EasyOCR, Surya and PaddleOCR (Intel Macs: PaddleOCR only). Much larger.
Binaries are unsigned: macOS Gatekeeper / Windows SmartScreen may warn on first launch.
