Release notes (1.3.1):

  • New: Template parameter <Pipeline> added to exec_param_query_nonblocking.
Allows enabling PostgreSQL pipeline mode at compile time for batched queries.
  • Improved: Full binary-safe parameter encoding (int, float, double, bool) with endian conversions via std::byteswap and std::bit_cast.
  • Added: Native support for std::optional<T> — automatically binds NULL when unset.
  • Fixed: Ambiguous overload resolution in encoder for int, float, and string literals.
  • Enhanced: Unified error extraction across all result types (QueryResult, PgCopyResult, PgCursorChunk).
  • Refactored: I/O helpers (flush_outgoing, pump_input, wait_readable/writable) now consistently used across all operations.
  • Compatibility: No behavior change by default — pipeline mode remains disabled unless explicitly enabled.
