Deckboy v0.99.398 — SRT feeds with their sound, grid warp, and warp you can find
This is an older release. The current version is always at releases/latest.
Sources
- Fixed an issue where SRT cues played without sound. Picture and audio now
use one connection and play together at the feed's incoming size. Channels
imported from.m3uplaylists also carry audio. - New: Swirl pattern, after Pocket Test in the pattern picker. A slow spiral
of melting pixel greens with a yellow crest, matching Deckboy's trailer,
for holding screens or backgrounds behind lower thirds. - Source commands accept full names with or without quotes:
NDICUE "WINDY (Graphics PC)"andNDICUE WINDY (Graphics PC)both find
the sender. This applies to every source verb that takes a name.
Cues
- Fixed an issue where
CONTINUE FOLLOWset tofrom enddid not take
the next cue when the current cue held its last frame. Hold remains the
default. - Fixed an issue where the desk stuttered when a MIDI file cue's
port was held by another program. Deckboy retries every couple of seconds
and opens the port when it becomes free.

First run
Deckboy is free software and is not code-signed, so the OS does not recognise the publisher. One time only:
- macOS — if it says the app is damaged:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Deckboy.app - Windows — SmartScreen may appear: More info → Run anyway
Deckboy is free, open-source cue-based media playback and show control for live video — clips, slides and live sources on one cue list, out to a screen, NDI, SRT or Blackmagic SDI, with a stream and a recording running at the same time and presenter view on its own display, driven from a Stream Deck, Bitfocus Companion, OSC, MIDI or LTC timecode.
