Deckboy v0.99.421 — every connected display in reach in Video Outputs; the tour on one screen
This is an older release. The current version is always at releases/latest.
Video Outputs
- Fixed: with several displays connected, the last ones in Connected Displays could be cut
off at the bottom of the Screen tab, out of reach of the scroll (seen on a Mac with a projector
plugged in). The list now opens the Screen tab, above Display & Raster, and always has room for
three displays, so the one an output is on and two more are in view without scrolling.
Guided tour
- On a single screen, the step that turns the output on no longer leaves the output covering the
desk and the tour. The output still fills the screen, and says so; any key or click puts it in
a small window in the corner of the desk, and the tour carries on. With a second screen the
step runs as before.

First run
Deckboy is free software and is not code-signed, so the OS does not recognise the publisher. One time only:
- macOS — if it says the app is damaged:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Deckboy.app - Windows — SmartScreen may appear: More info → Run anyway
Deckboy is free, open-source cue-based media playback and show control for live video — clips, slides and live sources on one cue list, out to a screen, NDI, SRT or Blackmagic SDI, with a stream and a recording running at the same time and presenter view on its own display, driven from a Stream Deck, Bitfocus Companion, OSC, MIDI or LTC timecode.
