Vaultite 0.6.3
A quieter first run with the Zen bundle, and steadier editing and Review.
- The Zen bundle replaces Agents: sidebars without rails that slide in from the window's edge, no tab bar, panes
floating on the window. New in Appearance: Sidebar rails, and Pane titles for a tab bar that's off. - Pinned pages can show as tiles: a grid of their icons at the top of the sidebar, named on hover (Pinned settings >
Show pinned pages as). - New plugin Glance (Navigation, off until turned on): ⌥-click a link, a file in the sidebar or a search result to see
it in a wide sheet over the page, live and editable, then Open in tab, Open to the side, or close it. - Phones: a page pulled down offers New note, Open a file (straight down) and Close tab; choose its three commands in
Settings > Appearance on the phone. - An agent that isn't installed (Claude Code, Codex...) says so in a toast instead of the companion staying on
starting; its terminal's tip says not installed. - New vaults: Start here tries the companion first (@claude in the note), and the Buttons panel is in the left sidebar.
- Applying Standard sets up what a new vault has: it no longer adds the pages of plugins already on (Activity, People,
Agents...); a bundle writes the pages of the plugins it turns on. - Bundles: the card of the bundle your setup matches says In use (a new vault's Standard), in place of the last one
applied. - Settings and Get plugins are quieter: fewer explanation lines under rows, and each plugin in Get plugins is one line
of description, its version and date beside its name. - Inbox: a result marked done is first under Done, and the agent's event about it is read and opens it in the archive.
- In the desktop app, a web page in a pane the status bar reaches over stays live: it stops above the bar instead of
freezing as a picture of itself. - Typing in a note no longer redraws the status bar's items: a keystroke draws less than half of what it did.
- Back to a page lands exactly where it was scrolled: its blocks come back at the height they had, not rounded up, so
the page no longer settles a few pixels as they load. - Switching to editing puts the cursor on a line still wholly in sight once the page settles, so the first key no
longer scrolls to a line that ended up half hidden. - A file written through the API just as something else changed is still told to open windows and plugins: Review
no longer misses an AI's edit made right after another change. - A file saved just before another write is no longer put down to that write in Activity, so Review still has the
text from just before an AI's change instead of saying no earlier version is kept.
Every change: CHANGELOG.md.
