- New add-ons: add your own tabs to VellFire. An add-on is a small folder (a manifest.json and an index.html) in your add-ons folder; it opens as its own tab under More. Add-ons can read quotes, chart bars, your watchlist and the Montage stock, and nothing else: they can't place orders, change settings or reach the internet unless you approve it. Turn them on or off, open the folder, or remove one in Settings › Add-ons. The guide and an example are in the program's docs\addons folder.
- Pricing: after the 14-day free trial VellFire is $77.50 a month (about £60), one plan with everything. Licences stay free during the beta.
- A smaller, tidier install.

- Safer order sizing: entries, the order preview and limit entries size from your broker's live price, and are refused if that price is missing or more than 10 seconds old.
- New Shift+X: point the mouse at your stop price on the Trade chart and press Shift+X to buy at market with that stop; the size comes from your risk per trade. A confirm box always shows shares, price, stop and $ risk first.
- New limit entry lines (Shift+W or the "Limit entry" button): drag a green BUY line and a red STOP line, watch the size and 2R target update, then click the red Confirm button to place it. Esc removes the lines. Works on both Trade charts. Paper trading only.
- Lists: columns fit their text automatically, and the "% From 52w Low" column shows clearly that it measures from the 52-week low.

- New Risk tab and one shared top bar on every page, with your risk limits, today's result in R and a change log.
- Risk extras, all off by default and only ever warnings or views: a weekly R budget, a pre-market checklist and more. The weekly and checklist locks can't be switched during US market hours.
- Risk lock: during US market hours VellFire always keeps your last saved limits, so limits can only be tightened, never loosened, while the market is open.
- Morning window: start and end are set in 5-minute steps (e.g. 930), start before end.
- Revenge check: re-entering a stock within a few minutes of being stopped out on it asks you first. Exits are never asked.
- Morning-window warning (amber, never blocks an order) and a cooldown countdown on the Montage.
- Esc works as your cancel hotkey everywhere, including while a drawing tool is picked. On the chart-order confirm box, Esc closes the box.
- Drawings: lines show on every timeframe, flat trend lines become horizontal lines, an optional "this timeframe only" tick, and a "+8.4% · +9.80 · 23 bars" label on trend lines. Select and adjust lines after placing them (drag an end, drag the middle, Delete, Esc), on both Trade charts. Order, stop and target lines always come first.
- The panes under a chart (volume and others) move with the chart when you drag or zoom.
- Adjustable columns on every list: resize, reorder, show or hide (incl. % From Low, ADR%, RVOL, volume), sort, and a frozen symbol column; each list remembers its layout.
- Pinned toolbar (on by default) keeps the top rows steady. Right-click the top bar to switch it off.
- Compact Trade page: tighter layout, folded panels, a real second chart beside the main one, and setup tags you pick with one tap.
- Montage tidy-up: spread and RVOL on two-line prices, smaller order buttons, one flatten-everything button, and an earnings flag beside the symbol (red today, amber within 5 trading days).
- Accurate daily volume across charts, lists and RVOL.
- Voice: an offline microphone (Ctrl+Space to talk) that understands chart commands and tab names. It is for charts and views only and refuses orders.
- Claude's view updates when you press the refresh button, so you only pay for the calls you ask for.
- The News tab shows clearly when the news feed isn't answering.
- A fuller scan table on the Trade screen and a smoother chart crosshair.

- Backtest a stock: build your own rules from indicators, stops and exits, after costs and against random entries. A Templates library of 312 ready-made tests to start from (a template only fills in the form; nothing runs until you press Run).
- Describe your test: type a backtest in plain words and Claude turns it into rules you check first.
- Claude costs under your control: choose the Claude model for each job and set a monthly spend limit (warning at 80%, stops at 100%) in Customise › Claude.
- Faster, clearer start-up: the window shows what's loading, and the portable version restarts smoothly after an update.
- Line alerts: right-click a line or level on the chart › Add alert (or Alt+L); manage them on the Alerts page. Alerts only inform.
- Drawing hotkeys (Alt+letter) and a new hotkey editor in Customise › Hotkeys.
- Optional chart tabs and a docking Trade screen (drag, tab, resize, pop out, saved layouts): switch on in Customise.
- Add and remove watchlist stocks right on the Trade screen (+ Add, ×, right-click, Delete key, Undo).
- Broker mode picker on the Brokers page (IBKR paper or IG demo), shown in the top bar.
- Prop mode page, a PIN screen lock (flatten and cancel always work) and live tape stats above Time & Sales.
- Journal Lab, portfolios and more trade-import formats; screenshots can be sent to Claude.
- Clearer labels: plain descriptive names for well-known trading styles, an untested earnings scan marked "unproven", and a missing earnings key shown plainly.
