What happened?
I've created a Windows 10 VM and as soon as I saved it, Virtualbox crashed. When I relaunched it, it crashed immediately on lauch instead of reporting errors. The GUI did not appear and there was no chance of fixing the problem or even knowing the cause of the crash. The only fix was to delete the VM folder.
Full log:
VBoxSVC.log
How can we reproduce this?
On Fedora 42, install kernel headers, then packages VirtualBox and akmod-VirtualBox and reboot. Download VBox extensions and install them through the Tools menu. Then create a Win 10 VM.
Did you upload all of your necessary log files, screenshots, etc.?
- Yes, I've uploaded all pertinent files to this issue.
