What happened?

Sometimes, when I start the virtual machine, the boot process hangs.
Whenever this occurs, it always stops at the same point — I’ve attached a screenshot of it.

In the attached fail log, you can see that after the second EHCI: USB Operational entry nothing happens for 6 minutes. Later, it probably went to sleep (or something similar) while the VM window was in the background.

The same boot hang also occurs with Ubuntu 24.04.3 Server Linux.
VirtualBox Guest Additions 7.2.2 are installed on the VM's

How can we reproduce this?

  1. Create or start a virtual machine with Armbian X86 (Debian Bookworm 12) or Ubuntu 24.04.3 Server.
  2. Ensure that VirtualBox Guest Additions 7.2.2 are installed on the VM.
  3. Boot the VM.

Did you upload all of your necessary log files, screenshots, etc.?
