Added

  • Specialized diff previews on macOS and Linux: inspect a configured text converter
    or external diff command, then approve it for one preview. Results are read-only;
standard diffs and staging keep using the original contents with drivers disabled.
  • macOS: right-clicking Reado in the Dock offers New Window, as VS Code does.
  • Two louder built-in themes: Reado Acid (dark: violet-black, acid lime, hot pink,
solid offset shadows) and Reado Pop (light: lime paper, white cards, ink borders,
a pink accent). Both keep every text rank at WCAG AA, and both go further than
colour: taller buttons and fields, 2px borders across the app, rounder corners,
bold button labels and a solid offset shadow under every control.

Changed

  • Interactive components (dialogs, menus, selects, tooltips, tours, colour picker,
segmented controls, checkboxes, QR codes) are now built on rind-ui instead of Ark UI.
  • The Files panel shows its read progress on a row of its own, with a progress bar, so
it no longer crowds the header actions. In a narrow sidebar those actions fold into
a single "More actions" menu instead of being cut off.
  • Clicking a path in the terminal to a file outside the open project now opens it in Reado, at its own project, the way "Open with Reado" from Finder does. It used to show the file in Finder.

Fixed

  • The colour picker's hue and opacity knobs sit centred on their tracks.
  • The URL button under the Reado Anywhere QR code no longer gets squashed to a sliver
    when the dialog scrolls.
  • Preserve CRLF line endings when resolving merge conflicts.
  • Find search queries starting with a dash, such as --help or -foo.
  • Show invalid regular expression errors in project search instead of reporting no matches.
  • Check out the selected remote branch when multiple remotes have the same branch name.
  • Security: the browser pane opens only http and https pages. A design comment
in a cloned repository's .reado/ could point it at a file: or data: URL.
  • Security: an agent command already waiting in .reado/ when the browser pane
opens is no longer run. Only commands sent while the pane is open are.
  • Security: reading diffs in the editor, review, staging panel or Reado Anywhere
no longer executes external diff drivers or text converters configured by a repository.
  • Security: Reado's own reads of a repository (status, diff, blame) no longer run the
clean/smudge filter drivers its config sets up, so opening a folder can't run code
that way. Git LFS and git-crypt keep working, and staging or committing still uses
    every filter.
  • The status bar said "Agent idle" while an agent you started yourself in a terminal (typing claude, or resuming after a restart) was working. Reado now notices it from the terminal and shows it as working.
  • Clicking a link in a rendered README or other Markdown loaded the page inside Reado's own
window, with no way back but quitting. Web links now open in your browser; a relative
link or an #anchor no longer takes the window (or the open project) away.
  • Files whose names contain ->, quotes, tabs, newlines or leading/trailing spaces
showed up truncated, escaped or as a rename in Source Control and in guided review
scopes. Their names now come through exactly as they are on disk.
  • Staging a single added line in a file with no newline at the end could drop the
newline after another line. Each line now stages exactly as it is.
  • With merge.conflictStyle set to diff3 or zdiff3, resolving a conflict kept the
common ancestor's text along with your side. Only the side (or sides) you pick are
    kept now.
