The Alternative Fuel Stations Map is an interactive web application designed to visualize alternative fuel stations across the United States. This project transforms data from the U.S. Department of Energy's database into an intuitive, map-based interface where users can explore the locations of various eco-friendly fueling options. The visualization supports multiple fuel types including electric charging stations, compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied natural gas (LNG), biodiesel, and others.
Built with modern web technologies and the Leaflet mapping library, this tool enables users to filter stations by both fuel type and state. The responsive design ensures accessibility across different devices, while the real-time data loading provides up-to-date information about station locations. Whether you're a driver of an alternative fuel vehicle looking for nearby stations or a researcher interested in sustainable transportation infrastructure, this map serves as a comprehensive resource for alternative fuel station data.
