Releases: WindowsJavaEdition/JavaAppletViewer
version Pre-release 1.0 Update 01
Java Applet Viewer, version Pre-release 1.0 Update 01 - Major Update
Any update of Java 8 and Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 (or later) are required to run this program.
Additional configuration is required to properly run this program. Here's how to properly configure Java Applet Viewer for use. (I'll edit this later)
An automatic first-time setup doing that is on my TO-DO list.
Changelog:
Added:
- Added ability to save your configuration settings
- Added startup HTMLs (launching custom HTML files on start of Java Applet Viewer, useful for more complicated applets)
- Added ability to suppress Internet Explorer script errors/warnings (useful for startup HTMLs)
- Added ability to toggle XP Visuals. Useful for UI styles, as with the XP visuals turned on some styles may not look great
- Added import "System.IO" for Form2.vb (configurations window)
- Added some comments to the source code
Changes:
- Changed the title of the configurations window
- Made UI styles inaccesible normally. You can still enable them with an "easter egg" of sorts (hint: the window with lots of information about the current build of Java Applet Viewer). The UI styles will get a complete rewrite in the future.
- Unimplemented yet configs are now marked as disabled
- Optimized the source code a bit
Removed:
- Removed imports "System.Text" and "System.Text.RegularExpressions" from Form1.vb (main window) (leftovers from unused functions)
Other:
- You can now download Java Applet Viewer also in *.zip or *.tar.gz files, not restricted to *.7z anymore.
- Java Applet Viewer repository is now public to the world
Also, if there happens to be any, ignore the "Update Java" type notifications!
