What's new

• No more "The server is unavailable." when you add XMPlayer. If your XMPlayer DVR agent is off or busy, XMPlayer is still added with your recordings, and its page tells you the DVR agent isn't answering, with a Retry. Once the agent answers, your categories appear without another step.
• Clearer status. Settings › Media servers now says "DVR agent not answering" instead of "Server unavailable", and Retry keeps your place on the page.
• Library › Servers loads much faster. XMPlayer categories now appear row by row in a few seconds, instead of after a long wait for every one of them.
• One clear message when the DVR agent is away. The Servers tab shows a single message explaining what to do, instead of an error on every category. Opening the tab again loads them once the agent is back.

• arm64-v8a: most newer TVs and streaming boxes
• armeabi-v7a: older or lower-cost devices (many Fire TV and Chromecast models)
• universal: works on everything, but it's a bigger download. Pick this one if you're not sure.

Already have the XMP edition? The app offers this update itself, or install it over your current version. Your sign-in and settings stay.

What's new

• Easy to tell apart. The app's banner on your TV's home screen now says "XMP EDITION", so it no longer looks the same as the regular Nuvio.
• Adding XMPlayer as a server shows its progress. You'll see each playlist being read, with a progress bar, instead of a screen that looked stuck.
• Clearer wording when you remove XMPlayer. It now says exactly what's removed (the categories and recordings on this profile) and what stays (your XMPlayer sign-in).

Nuvio for Android TV and Google TV, with your XMPlayer account built in.

What's new

• Sign in with XMPlayer. Go to Settings, choose XMPlayer, scan the QR code with your phone and approve. No typing on the TV.
• Your watch history comes with you (Premium and Pro). Your XMPlayer history, watch progress, favourites and collections show up in Nuvio and stay in sync both ways. Start something on the TV and pick it up anywhere else you use XMPlayer.
• Your library comes with you through the XMPlayer DVR Agent (Premium and Pro). With the agent running, your playlists' movie and series categories show up in Nuvio as catalogs.
• Your Cloud DVR recordings are available to watch in Nuvio.
• Trakt and Simkl, with nothing extra to set up. If you've linked Trakt or Simkl in XMPlayer, Nuvio uses them automatically (Premium and Pro). Not linked yet? Connect from Nuvio's settings with a QR code.
• Movie and show details work out of the box. No API keys needed.
• Installs beside the regular Nuvio and doesn't replace it.
• Updates itself. New versions are offered in the app.
