v0.0.2
MOPS v0.0.2 – API/Library Release 🚀
MOPS (MPAS‑Ocean Particle SYCL) is a lightweight C++/SYCL library for high‑performance MPAS‑Ocean particle‑trajectory simulation.
The core is now completely decoupled from file I/O and can be embedded in any C++/Python application. A minimal CLI wrapper is still provided for quick testing, but no longer represents the primary interface.
✨ Highlights
- Clean C++ API + Python bindings
Import#include "api/MOPS.h"in C++, orimport pyMOPSin Python notebooks. - Pathline & streamline support
On‑the‑fly seed generation and particle/pathline tracking with Euler integrator (RK4 coming soon). - SYCL off‑loading to NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel GPUs.
- Thread‑safe parallelism via oneTBB; no MPI required inside the library.
- Extensible post‑processing hooks for trajectory visualization (VTK) and analysis.
