v0.0.3
MOPS v0.0.3 – Multi-Backend Support 🚀
MOPS (MPAS-Ocean Particle SYCL) continues to evolve as a lightweight framework for high-performance MPAS-Ocean visualization and particle-trajectory simulation.
This release extends the execution model beyond the original SYCL-only design by adding support for multiple backends and programming models, including TBB, CUDA, and HIP. The new architecture makes MOPS more portable across CPU and GPU environments while preserving a unified runtime and application structure.
✨ Highlights
- Multi-backend support across TBB, SYCL, CUDA, and HIP
- CPU and GPU execution paths under a cleaner modular architecture
- Continued support for visualization and trajectory applications
- C++ and Python interfaces remain available
