what changed

• The encrypted-DM lock sits just before Send, not in the poll, GIF and emoji tools. A DM opened from a saved home page still gets the lock, identified from the header avatar.
• An open modal (profile, settings, full-screen menus) stops drawing everything behind it, so the glass no longer blurs a live page. The wallpaper, the close button and anything drawn above the modal stay. Only the top modal responds when two are stacked.

what changed

• The encrypted-DM lock no longer watches the whole page. That was firing on every keystroke and animation and made the glass cards glitch. It now follows the normal page update instead.

what changed

• Profile modal and background loops are lighter. Android asks for the highest refresh rate of the current resolution (120 Hz hint on Android 15+).
• Motion blur is optional under Appearance > Chatter options, with an intensity slider. It stays off in performance mode and when reduce-motion is on.
• Panels ease in on transform and opacity only, so glass still works.
• Appearance is saved per account, with 5 slots each. Switching accounts restores that account and does not publish the previous look.
• Android confirm, alert and prompt work again, so "Are you sure?" no longer counts as Cancel.
• Applying a profile pack without a nameplate or theme clears the one that was on.
• Account changes are picked up within a few seconds. Nothing is written to the previous account while that happens.
• iOS can reply from the notification. Controls that do not exist on iOS stay hidden.
• Slot rename is a field on the card. Apply updates live. Custom PNGs over 400 KB go to IndexedDB.
• 1:1 DMs can be encrypted on the device. Turn on the lock in the message field. The private key never leaves the phone. If a contact's key changes, sending waits until you compare the safety code.

Encrypted DMs only share the public key after the updated Firestore rules are published (new optional pub field on mods/{id}).

what changed

• "Desfocar fundo" = 0 is sharp for real. The leftover blur was the glass stacked on the chat, bars and sidebar, not the wallpaper. With a wallpaper on, those surfaces drop the backdrop blur; the slider is the only blur (Android + iOS)
• wallpapers can be a GIF, an animated WebP or APNG, or a video (mp4/webm, mov on iOS), up to 80 MB. A still image still works the same
• picking a wallpaper no longer turns liquid glass on. With glass off the wallpaper shows through: panels go see-through, menus and modals stay solid
• coming back from the background no longer blacks the screen. The page redraws and a video wallpaper resumes. A full reload only happens if the page is stuck, empty, or Android was away more than 10 minutes (iOS does not auto-reload)

• the custom wallpaper is sharp again at "Desfocar fundo" = 0: the 1.97 rule added a fixed +42px to the blur, and blur(0px) still softened the layer in the WebView. Now 0 means no filter at all, and the blur comes only from the slider (Android + iOS)
• nothing else changed: glass, surface blur, sizes and themes are the same
