ScopeProof helps reviewers inspect confirmed acceptance criteria against evidence from public
GitHub pull requests. It is an evidence assistant, not a correctness oracle.
This release includes the changes accumulated since v0.2.3:
- A fuller local CLI lifecycle and stricter saved-review/public-source validation.
- Conservative changed-file scope controls and exact-head reviewer decisions.
- Bounded imported external-JUnit context and recorded core-source identity, with explicit limits.
- Browser selection synchronization repairs and expanded constructed installed-browser coverage.
- CSV gate reasons and next actions, with spreadsheet-formula neutralization retained.
- Visible eligible, shown and omitted candidate counts; historical counts remain unknown.
The wheel, source archive and SHA256SUMS provide the downloadable evaluation package. Verify the
wheel against the published checksum manifest before installation. Consult the README for local
setup and the changelog for detailed changes. A checksum does not establish code signing or
correctness.
v0.2.4 writes saved-record format v5. Back up existing records and keep original exports before
upgrading. Older records are conservatively reassessed; missing source/scope information and
acceptance are never invented. Reconfirmation or fresh analysis may be needed. Downgrade
compatibility is not promised.
Python 3.11–3.13 have package/CLI engineering evidence; Python 3.14 remains unverified. Windows
CLI/storage checks and constructed Chromium automation do not establish broad desktop/browser
support or accessibility conformance. ScopeProof stays local, public-repository-only and
evaluation-only under USE_POLICY.md, with no service commitment. It never executes target code.
No personal testing or qualifying review is required to download and evaluate the package. Stage 1
remains closed with all external-evidence counts at zero; Stage 3 is dormant. This release does
not claim customer validation, independent use or a completed beta. Use the sanitized defect form
for ordinary problems and private vulnerability reporting for security concerns.
Exact-source CI
passed with 2,700 tests, 8 intentional skips, 95.0834% unrounded coverage and 11 packaged-browser
checks (one full installed Chromium journey, four constructed selection checks and six helper/capture
checks). The release archives were built from that exact source commit; fresh installed-package
checks passed on Python 3.11, 3.12 and 3.13. These are automated engineering results, not genuine
independent use or validation of target-PR runtime correctness.
Report an ordinary defect
