scenix v1.9.1 — XR, Audio, And Physics Bridges
Scenix v1.9.1 — Animato no_std Bridge Fix
Scenix 1.9.1 is a dependency patch release. It picks up
Animato 1.7.3, whose
facade now declares #![cfg_attr(not(feature = "std"), no_std)], closing
scenix issue #21:
enabling the animato feature with std disabled no longer forces the
standard library into the build, so bridged animation works on bare-metal
and other no_std targets. No public scenix API changes.
Highlights
animatobridge dependency1.7.2→1.7.3:- The Animato facade (
animato) is nowno_std-capable and forwards the
facade's core-only,tween,spring,physics, andcolorfeature
combinations to bare metal.scenix-animatowith theanimatofacade
feature compiles forno_std-only targets. - Upstream
timelineandpathfacade features remainstd-gated in
Animato itself (their dependency trees still enableanimato-core/std)
— pre-existing behavior, unchanged in this release.
- The Animato facade (
- Verified bare metal:
cargo check -p scenix-animato --no-default-features --target thumbv7m-none-eabipasses; the same check previously failed with

enabled. - crates.io note: published scenix
1.9.0already resolved Animato
^1.7.2→1.7.3(semver-compatible), so the fix reaches downstream
users automatically. v1.9.1 makes the workspace pin explicit. - Accurately updated
XR_VERSION,AUDIO_VERSION, and
PHYSICS_VERSIONmarkers to1.9.1, and refreshed the Animato version
references in the README, ARCHITECTURE, animation concepts, and FAQ docs
to the1.7.3bridge target.
Upgrade
Nothing to do: depend on scenix/scenix-animato as before. Cargo
resolution pulls Animato 1.7.3 for any scenix = "1.9" consumer.
