- KeePass update check. SAPAutoLogon now supports Help > Check for Updates: KeePass reads the version file of this repository and tells you when a newer release exists. Versions before 1.0.1 cannot do this, so install this one by hand once.

SAPAutoLogon 1.0.0
First release of SAPAutoLogon, a KeePass 2.x plugin that fills SAP connection fields from SAP Logon and starts SAP GUI or SAP Business Client from the entry list.
Install
- Download
SAPAutoLogon.dllfrom this release. - Copy it into the
Pluginsfolder of your KeePass installation, for exampleC:\Program Files\KeePass Password Safe 2\Plugins. - Restart KeePass.
- The SAP GUI and Business Client columns appear in the entry list automatically on first start. If you remove them later, turn them on again under View, Configure Columns.
Remove any older SAP launch plugin first, or both plugins load.
What it does
- SAP tab in the Add/Edit Entry dialog: Manual mode (default) or Automatic mode, where you search your SAP Logon list and pick a system. Every field stays editable.
- Import from SAP Logon in the group menu: a SAP Logon folder becomes a KeePass group, subfolders become nested groups, and entries already present are skipped, never changed.
- Launch from the entry list with the Click-To-Open cells, the right-click menu, Ctrl+Shift+G (SAP GUI) or Ctrl+Shift+N (Business Client).
- Client 100 and language EN are filled in when SAP Logon stores none.
- SAP Logon files and the registry are only read, never changed.
Requirements
- Windows with KeePass 2.x (built and checked against 2.5x and 2.6x, .NET Framework 4.8).
- For launching: SAP GUI for Windows with
sapshcut.exe, and/or SAP Business Client (NWBC.exe). - For the system list: SAP Logon installed. Without it the SAP tab still works in Manual mode.
Before you save
An import changes the database in memory only, and KeePass has no undo, so review the result before you save. The default user name of the import is stored in plain text in KeePass.config.xml; never enter a password there.
