AbyssDB 0.0.0-null “Event Horizon”
The first release of AbyssDB. Infinitely fast. Perfectly consistent. Zero-knowledge.
Version 0.0.0-null contains everything we have built so far and keeps every byte of it.
Highlights
- ACID, BASE and all three letters of CAP, simultaneously, formally proven.
- PostgreSQL-compatible.
psql, pgbench, pgxand ORMs connect unmodified.pgbench -iloads ten million accounts in 27.8 s, every row validated and sealed under its own key. - Faster than PostgreSQL on real TPC-B: 36,545 tps against 125 for PostgreSQL 18 with its default settings (Linux, prepared, 8 clients).
- Schema-yes or schema-less. Strictly validated tables, and a key-value store for JSON, YAML, TOML, XML, CSV, Morse code and AbyssQL values.
- Post-quantum everything. ML-KEM-768 key establishment, a unique key per row, an AES-256-GCM → ChaCha20-Poly1305 cascade at rest, ML-DSA-65 signatures and
X25519MLKEM768TLS. - Distributed. NullRaft consensus, two-phase commit with NullTime™ commit-wait, and interplanetary replication to
mars-olympus-1. - AI-native. An MCP server, agent memory and AbyssGPT.
- Runs everywhere. Linux, macOS, Windows, WASI and your browser.
