ATL USB Protector v1.1 - Initial Stable Release

We are proud to announce the first official release of the ATL USB Protector (v1.1), engineered by Accessible Tech Labs India.

This enterprise-grade security add-on is designed specifically for NVDA screen reader users to protect their systems from unauthorized USB drives, data theft, and malware. It acts as a silent, high-performance security guard directly integrated into your screen reader environment.

🚀 Key Features in this Release:

• Auto-Eject (Maximum Security): Instantly and safely ejects any unknown USB drive the moment it is plugged in, ensuring zero chance of malware execution.
• Read-Only Lock (Registry-Level Protection): Uses deep Windows Registry policies to lock unauthorized USB drives in Read-Only mode. You can read files, but viruses cannot transfer to your system.
• Smart Grace Period (10-Second Whitelist): When an unknown USB is inserted, you get a 10-second auditory grace period. Press Alt+A to instantly add the drive to your Trusted List.
• One-Click Global Unlock: Instantly restore all locked USB drives to their normal Read/Write state directly from the settings menu.
• Native NVDA Settings Integration: A fully accessible, dynamic GUI integrated directly into the native NVDA Preferences menu.

📦 How to Install:

1. Download the atl_usb_protector.nvda-addon file from the "Assets" section below.
2. Press Enter on the downloaded file.
3. Click "Yes" when NVDA asks for installation confirmation.
4. Restart NVDA when prompted.
