POCOX v0.7.5

Remote-control your codex sessions from any device. This release ships the desktop/mobile app and the CLI.

Fixed in this release

  • Fix desktop hosting failing to restore after Quit and reopen. The shared hosting layer now explicitly hands over ownership after successful cleanup on Windows, macOS and Linux, and prevents the old process from overwriting the new owner's configuration. Failed cleanup retains ownership for retry.
  • Keep Windows single-instance protection until Flutter and its plugins finish shutting down.

Validated with native shutdown/ownership regressions on all three desktop platforms, full CI, and a real Windows quit/reopen that restored the local Codex service and controller connection. See PR #157.

Windows 0.7.0 / 0.7.1: install this version manually once; those versions contain the broken update helper. Later installed versions can use the normal updater.

@github-actions github-actions released this 24 Oct 17:37
acb56a6

POCOX v0.7.4

Remote-control your codex sessions from any device. This release ships the desktop/mobile app and the CLI.

Highlights

  • Quit dismisses the desktop window immediately while independent services clean up concurrently.
  • Owned Codex processes stop alongside parallel relay withdrawals, instead of waiting for each network cleanup in sequence. Host ownership stays protected until cleanup completes.
  • If cleanup fails, the window returns with the reason and a retry action. Repeated quit requests join the same cleanup.
  • Includes the Windows updater handoff and console lifetime fixes from 0.7.2 and 0.7.3.

Windows upgrade note

Windows 0.7.0 and 0.7.1 users must install this version manually once using the Windows installer below. Those versions contain a broken updater handoff and cannot install this fix through their own updater. The installer upgrades the existing installation in place.

POCOX v0.7.3

Remote-control your codex sessions from any device. This release ships the desktop/mobile app and the CLI.

Windows upgrade note

Windows 0.7.0 and 0.7.1 users must install this version manually once using the Windows installer below. Those versions contain a broken updater handoff and cannot install this fix through their own updater. The installer upgrades the existing installation in place.

Highlights

  • The Windows release app no longer attaches to a launcher's terminal, so closing that terminal cannot terminate POCOX.
  • Update restarts no longer create a console, and only the update helper owns the restart.
  • Services can be saved for long-term access across devices, with stable URLs and explicit consent for agent-created saved shares.

POCOX v0.7.2

@github-actions github-actions released this 24 Oct 13:27

Windows update repair

Fix Windows updates closing POCOX without running the installer. The helper now acknowledges startup before the app quits, prevents concurrent installations, checks the installer result, reopens the app, and retains diagnostic logs and failed packages.

Windows 0.7.0 / 0.7.1 users: exit POCOX and run the 0.7.2 Windows installer over the existing installation once. No uninstall is needed. These older versions contain the faulty updater and cannot apply this fix through their own update button.

POCOX v0.7.2

Remote-control your codex sessions from any device. This release ships the desktop/mobile app and the CLI.

POCOX v0.7.1

Remote-control your codex sessions from any device. This release ships the desktop/mobile app and the CLI.

Highlights in 0.7.1

  • Sessions keep reconnecting while visible and retain healthy relay tunnels. Live connection details show relay, P2P and session recovery stages with retry controls.
  • Agent-tool shares and connections support renewable lifetimes. Recovery preserves the promised local port, and revoked or stale work cannot overwrite a replacement connection.
  • Voice can join an existing conversation or start a new one. Hangup updates immediately; cleanup finishes before dictation or redial starts, and leaving the conversation cancels queued redial.
  • P2P and incoming direct connections remain opt-in, preserving existing relay-only preferences.
  • Improved folded phone composer, voice controls, Windows sign-in window dragging and account sign-in diagnostics.

POCOX v0.6.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 20 Oct 10:57

Linux AppImage packaging fix (2026-10-21): The AppImage now includes the missing WebKitGTK/GTK and GLES dependencies and uses a static runtime. Offline startup was verified on a clean Ubuntu 22.04 desktop. Re-download the AppImage if the original package failed to start. The application remains v0.6.0; the signed update manifest and checksums have been refreshed. Fix and validation.
