Cannot navigate to any url using `Start-SeChrome`

Title about sums it up:

$Driver = Start-SeChrome
Enter-SeUrl "https://google.com" -Driver $Driver

Opens a command prompt stating:

Starting ChromeDriver (v2.9.248315) on port 59452
DevTools listening on ws://127.0.0.1:12974/devtools/browser/b099c3a1-e40f-450e-9700-19e218b570f7

It then opens up the chrome dev browser, and in the URL bar it simply says data;, and it's a blank page

Running Windows 10, Chrome Version 68.0.3440.106

Also comes up with

1. "Disable developer mode extensions" prompt. I probably shouldn't.
2. "You are using an unsupported command line flag: --ignore-certificate-errors. STability and security will suffer

In the PS window

Going to retry with Firefox, as i'm trying to learn if this is useful.

Was it planned to work with IE ?

The fault lies with the version of chromedriver.exe inside this system. Update to latest from http://chromedriver.storage.googleapis.com/2.42/chromedriver_win32.zip and it works.

chrome still starts with "data;" as url, but then url changes with the api call.
