LATYS v0.1.80
New: Smerv, the prompt engineer. Type or say what you want, and Smerv turns it into a detailed, step-by-step prompt. Copy it, or send it to any agent in the project or to a new one. Open it from the dock, from the New Agent window or with Ctrl+K, or by voice ("open Smerv", "send Smerv's prompt to Dave"). Smerv's own engine is free, instant and works offline. It can also refine with a local model (Ollama/LM Studio) or a Council seat. Quick Council requests are now much faster, and Codex seats no longer fail with "Not inside a trusted directory".
LATYS v0.1.79
Workflows only keep what you save: a copy or a new workflow you leave without saving no longer piles up in the list (if you changed it, LATYS asks first). Workflow step reports always land in your project folder, never inside a subfolder the step worked in. LATYS now notes why it closed, to help track down unexpected exits.
LATYS v0.1.78
Picking a workflow from the menu works with a mouse again. If LATYS's window ever crashes it now reloads by itself instead of staying blank, and opening LATYS while it's already running brings back the window you have instead of starting a second copy. Codex agents in workflows always receive their task now: a long task no longer sits unsent in Codex's input box, and a first task typed before Codex is ready is sent again.
LATYS v0.1.77
The welcome tour is re-recorded in today's LATYS, with a new chapter on building with a team in Workflows. Local voice works out of the box again: the bundled Parakeet voice engine was missing from installers since v0.1.65. Agent cards are more accurate: a message you send to all your agents shows as each agent's task, a finished result no longer hides new work, a new agent reads Starting… then Ready, resizing a card no longer brings back old activity, and the launch command no longer flashes on a new card.
LATYS v0.1.76
Test this workflow: a Test button at the bottom of Workflows gives your team a practice run on one of five tiny builds (a pocket app, a mini game, a landing page, a mini course or a mini research engine), as a straight run or a loop test, on light models by default. It only counts as passed when the build is really there, and you can open it straight from the result.
LATYS v0.1.75
The Agent Forge chapter of the welcome tour is re-recorded for the new Academy, and the tour no longer covers Mission Mode.
LATYS v0.1.74
Workflows now save when you press Save (or Ctrl+S): edits, copies and new workflows stay drafts until then, so Copy no longer piles up saved workflows. The workflows menu no longer closes when you hover its buttons. Mission Mode and Night Shift are gone: Workflows is the one place to put a team of agents to work. Agent hand-offs, Council verdicts, voice and the phone remote now use workflows.
LATYS v0.1.73
A calmer, more cinematic LATYS. Agent cards now show the agent's terminal live under one status line. Agent Forge, Workflows, Mission Control, Time Machine and Settings all open with the same scene change. Dev, Build, Test and Release are now one Run menu, layouts moved to the canvas controls, and the status bar only shows what has happened. Forge Academy opens with a summary of the agent: its version, exams passed and what to do next. Buttons and the warning and error colours now match across the app.
LATYS v0.1.72
Talk instead of typing: the workflow goal box (What should the team build?) has a mic. Click it and talk, click again when you're done, or hold it while you talk. A live waveform shows it hearing you, Esc cancels, and the words land where your cursor is, transcribed by your chosen voice engine.
LATYS v0.1.71
Workflows never get stuck on a failed step: a step that reports a problem hands it to the checks after it, or the run waits with Try again or Carry on. Start a workflow from any step, and after a run, carry on or run it again from any card. Runs survive closing LATYS: they come back paused, with Resume. A new live run view: the team lights up, the camera follows the agents at work, each working card shows what its agent is doing, and a progress bar and captions tell the story. Close the Studio and the run keeps showing in a window on your project dashboard. Workflow agents now stop only the processes they started.
