If you are running a ScreenGuard beta, this post is for you. Before 1.0 ships, I want to know what actually works and what does not on your setup — reply right here.

What works well for you?

Which feature do you rely on every day? (Daily app limits, Focus Mode / Pomodoro, the dashboard, screen-time history, the lockout screen, …)

What is broken or missing?

• Which desktop environment and session type? (GNOME Wayland, KDE Plasma Wayland, X11 on GNOME/KDE/XFCE, …)
• What did you expect to happen, and what happened instead?
• A screenshot, a short video or the exact error text helps a lot.
• On X11 specifically, please attach a screenshot or video and name your DE and version — that is what lets me reproduce it.

What should I build next?

Reply with the one thing you would change first, or vote for an existing candidate. Currently on the list:

• Browser-tab tracking (YouTube, Reddit, Docs — instead of lumping all browsing under one app)
• Grouped app limits (e.g. all "social media" apps share one daily cap)
• Native Wayland support for KDE Plasma and Hyprland/Sway
• Exporting your history to CSV or JSON
• Weekly digest reports
• Strict mode — hard lockouts that refuse extra time
