Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where Cloudflare Workers would leave a hung task after every streamed reply. The teardown process now follows the response body, ensuring that the server closes when the pipe ends, whether the reply finished or the client canceled. This resolves the issue of runtime cancellations and logged errors, improving the reliability of streamed responses (#963).

Breaking Changes

Stateless Workers now respond to GET requests on their MCP endpoint with 405 Method Not Allowed instead of opening a server-sent event stream that never sends data. This change aligns with the specification for servers that do not offer a GET stream. Other unsupported methods such as PUT also receive a 405 response with an Allow: POST, DELETE header. This change affects deployments that previously relied on the GET stream for stateless Workers (#963).
