What's new in 1.2.2
A patch release with one fix for synced assets. It has the same code as 1.2.2-beta.0.
npm install -g @agility/cli@latestFixes
- Text assets arrived double-gzipped on the target — the CDN serves small text files (
.html,.htm,.css,.js,.txt,.log) gzip-encoded, and the CLI saved those compressed bytes toagility-files/as if they were the file. On upload the Management API compressed them again, so the target asset was gzipped twice and a browser couldn't use it. Downloads are now decoded perContent-Encoding(gzip, deflate, br), soagility-files/holds the original file and the target gets a byte-identical copy. (PROD-2987, #246) - Error responses saved as assets — any non-2xx response is now rejected instead of being written to disk as the asset, and a partly written file is removed if the download or decoding fails. (PROD-2987, #246)
Already-affected assets
This fix stops new double-gzipped uploads. It doesn't repair assets that an earlier version already uploaded: they're unchanged on the source, so a sync skips them. To fix one, re-upload the original file on the target, or make the sync treat it as changed (for example, re-upload the file on the source) and sync again with 1.2.2.
