InkKit 0.0.16
InkKit 0.0.16 makes editing long notes faster and more reliable, and imports pasted web content as readable text.
- Code highlighting runs only for the code blocks an edit touches. On 500 highlighted blocks, a heading edit takes about 11 ms instead of about 96 ms.
- Replace All and other edits that change hundreds of blocks in a long note now save, instead of being refused with "The edit changes too many blocks to preserve safely". Unchanged blocks also keep their authored source more reliably after such edits.
- Ordinary words such as "click", "link", "image" and "style" are allowed in diagram labels. The safety check now uses Mermaid's own parse result, so diagrams that really contain styles, links, click handlers or CSS resource functions are still refused.
- Pasted HTML from web pages, notes apps and word processors imports as readable content for common elements, including figures, definition lists, task-list checkboxes and tables beside other content. Source whitespace collapses correctly, and indentation in pasted code survives. Elements without a Markdown meaning, such as custom elements,
iframeandsvg, stay literal as before. - The README is shorter, and
NOTICEkeeps only the prosemirror-tables notice. The copyright line stays inLICENSE.

Verification includes 913 unit tests, Chromium and targeted WebKit browser regressions, 24 native WKWebView scenarios on the exact candidate archive, and clean packed and registry consumers. One native scenario, outline-source-distant-heading-viewport, fails by 0.083 pixels on macOS 27.0.1; it fails identically on 0.0.15 and is tracked in #94. Emulated and synthetic composition tests do not establish every operating-system input method.
