Learn about vigilant mode.

Add complete printable documents for host apps to use with Print and PDF.

  • Include tables, images, diagrams, footnotes and the full contents of folded callouts.
  • Leave author comments and editor controls out of the output.
  • Provide standalone HTML, print styles and portable assets through printableSnapshot().

Apps provide the Print/PDF commands and saved files. Missing assets or a changed document prevent export; invalid diagrams use readable source with a warning. Hosts must allow local blob: images during asset validation.
