InkKit 0.0.8 adds host-controlled editability and text-input preferences, observable command availability, per-instance appearance tokens, labels and shortcuts, and reusable minimal/rich fixtures. Existing hosts can keep their current integration; the new options and callbacks are additive. Native storage and UI remain host-owned.

Implementation: PR #50, covering #33, #35, #37, #39, #48 and #49. Review fixed task-marker offsets and found no further material findings.

Verification:

  • Hosted CI passed package, format, playground and Linux/macOS browser smoke checks.
  • Clean reviewed candidate 681c2cf799c4185cf0c5e4518068463b0a80da7f passed 478 regressions, package/declaration/CSS/offline-consumer checks, 12 Chromium cases and six selected WKWebView scenarios (103 steps).
  • Candidate archive SHA-256: f93d1ce31cad85ec9a0b6b1784695238e721b6289282d43247ccb61029f94fc5.
  • Candidate npm integrity: sha512-o+XktCJGcQXubaLqednVTVk/USdlTdkQYu9hKt2cLHPHmOwVeKGVizItABr80PaHtHdiqlevZ9t768hFxW9G7g==.
  • Decompressed tar SHA-256: d8ccff69b668f9204292b70d68d3c229e864ea13637c15f46d2dfbbc66072d91.
  • Candidate offline consumer SHA-256: 7fbe0b27a9237ed531a93e2c1cdd0c9c9adea3b0d66c69e1836275c6014dc694.
  • Original package evidence remains attributed to 3b7f4fa; 4b09567 changed only a fixture expectation. Review changed packed CSS, so fresh evidence above supersedes its package identity without overwriting the historical archive or failure diagnostics.

Evidence is retained on Atlas in /Users/aicayzer/Services/inkkit-worktrees/0.0.8/_local/release/0.0.8/. Synthetic composition tests verify guards rather than full IME interoperability; input preferences depend on browser/OS support. No routine external-app matrix or actual-app adoption was performed.

Publication completed and independently verified through release.yml at tag v0.0.8, commit ceb6ee440d3ce010ec524c653a508db963518f94. npm OIDC succeeded and signed provenance was published to Sigstore. Registry SHA-256 964015d5a19578bbedde4d3aa3432b4159b1a6977aee832790924be8041d3bca and integrity sha512-EmhgysZYN3mKYKe5McJjOiuvyL2DFk4aUjoB1LvvV6cPOrnH10oZCLWt90fBGhcJuYtfMCr6ldFHktR0jTEG+A== match the hosted archive exactly. Decompressed tar matches the native-tested candidate; only compression differs. A fresh exact-version registry installation, declarations, CSS and offline bundle passed; its bundle hash matches the candidate. Registry processing delay and failed reads are retained in separate logs; publication was not repeated.
